Even though the shelter was supposedly no kill (90%), I still don&#8217;t trust them not to put a dog down if space becomes an issue. Just won&#8217;t risk it when it comes to lives. These dogs prior owner died suddenly (at a young age too) and the family wanted nothing to do with the dogs, so they landed up at the shelter thru no fault of their own. A very concerned non-related party saw it happen and wanted them to go to another good home, like the one they used to have. So I pulled them and now we will try to get them that home they deserve and a rescue that will properly look after them until we do. They both are good with kids, other animal and horses too.
