Sometimes I feel I am a training aid for Animal Control as to what can go wrong, goes wrong with me. I arrived at 3:30 on the 23rd to pick up these 7 about to be killed dogs from Animal Control and after finishing all the paperwork, waited in the parking lot for 1 \u00bd hrs for loading. Checked 3 times, they will get right on it. Never did. Finally at 5:20 enough was enough. I can\u2019t make the delivery because the receiving rescue will be closed. Just not enough time. I told them I will return in the morning and I was not happy that the dogs had to spend another night in the kennel. What was I to do. Nowhere to delivery them to. I came back at 9:00am the 24th and everyone helped me load so these guys could finally get out of there. And yes they arrived at Ventura Highway Luxury Boarding for Dogs in Ventura where they will be adopted out through their rescue CaboDogz.com by Mindy and her wonderful crew. A trip of 25 miles, did take a day and a half to make.<\/p>\n
