We finally found a rescue in Oregon that would take her and get her adopted. So I picked this poor sweet girl up in Ventura at 9pm to begin her long ride to Oregon. Linda was going north to deliver her foster dog to the rescue and agreed to take Alise along also. Since there were only two dogs in the car they got to travel in style. I met Linda at Castaic Junction at 10:30pm, as she wanted to travel at night so its cooler on the dogs across the central valley. And we all know how long, hot and boring that drive can be. Linda called and said the dogs traveled fine and arrived safely at their destination and everything went well. I know Alise will find her forever home there as she is so sweet and loving. Again, just a link in the chain to get these wonderful dogs to a loving home.
