I received an email from Ashey, in England, asking for help in pulling these two from the Camarillo shelter ASAP. Sure I said; and how would we do that and where would they be going, I asked. She said she would take care of that. A little while later, Joy calls me from a Chi rescue in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and ask if I would pull and transport them to her. After getting all the particulars as to who they were and were they a bona-fide rescue, I said sure, I will transport them if the cost were covered. It was and I pulled them from the shelter today and they are staying overnight at another rescue’s house. We leave Friday morning for Santa Fe and I will get to meet these wonderful people who made these two littlest ladies the luckiest two I have ever met. This will be an ongoing saga as I will be gone not only to Santa Fe, I will be checking out the rescues in Arizona at the same time. So I will post pictures and comments as we go on this journey.

These two have to be the luckiest Chihuahuas in California.
