Meet Hazelnut, the one that got away but was re-found the next day. I picked her up Monday evening at the Camarillo Shelter to take her to the Vet in Westlake village because she had kennel cough – as most do now a days. When I was off-loading her, she bolted right out of the kennel and was off like a greyhound. No way was I going to catch her. I looked for a few blocks around and saw no sign of her. We posted flyers in the neighborhood and lo and behold, someone had found her, just a few blocks from the Vet’s office. She is now at the Vet’s office safe and sound, thanks to a wonderful anonymous animal lover in that area. A big thank you to that person, from all of us.<\/p>\n
