It generally takes 30 minutes per animal to pull them from the shelter and that would leave me with 15 minutes to spare. As they were going to kill the pup that evening, he had to get out, like now. I did get them both out and to Westlake on time and they were checked in with 5 minutes to spare. The pup (don\u2019t know his name) was very sweet and I couldn\u2019t believe he didn\u2019t get adopted. The cat was a bite case and not very happy to be bouncing around in a van. She did have a medical issue and that is now being treated as well at Westlake.
