I went to the Camarillo shelter on Saturday to pick up both dogs who were on their very last day at the shelter. I took Abbey, the pittie, a vet down in the valley. She has a small case of kennel cough and before being transported any further, she needed to be treated. I delivered her to the vet’s then headed north to a rescue in Solvang that agreed to take Little Brownie. For those of you who aren\u2019t familiar with her, Little Brownie had been classified by the shelter as aggressive. That is not what I found when I evaluated this 3-pound girl. I found a very frightened and confused little dog who badly needed out of the shelter. Well, now she is out and I delivered her to the rescue up there; they are very happy with her and she will get adopted very quickly in that area.<\/p>\n
