So close to the edge we have to work things. Seems the stress never goes away, it&#8217;s always now or never. These little guys didn&#8217;t know what was going on. They just knew they were leaving and wanted to be gone. Sometimes I think the dogs do know that the end is near and there is no hope for them. For some that&#8217;s true, for others there is the last minute reprieve. For many others it&#8217;s just fade out time. I have seen so many good dogs die and I do believe they know when it&#8217;s time and they walk that last mile.
